Product Manager

Welcome back Isabel! We are excited to have Isabel back as Product Manager since returning from maternity leave. She joined CoolIT in 2018 as Program Manager and has touched on various projects and strategic initiatives within the company. Her current position is focused on product planning, product lifecycle and product management to deliver cutting-edge data center solutions. Isabel’s favorite aspect about being a Product Manager is helping customers solve their key problems.

Isabel has a Mechanical Engineering degree with a Minor in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development from the University of Calgary and also holds a Professional Engineer designation. During her degree, Isabel gained notable mechanical engineering internships focused on research and development in ABB Switzerland and fracking in central Alberta with Schlumberger.  During her last two years of university, she gained a minor in Business which uncovered a passion for business and marketing. This led her to a career in Product Management after graduating which she notes as “the perfect mix of engineering and business”. She started in the oil and gas industry managing SilverJack pump jacks, gas chart processing and well maintenance software at Zedi-Emerson and throughout her career she has specialized in hardware and software product management.

Isabel has been focused on being an amazing mom to her one-year-old girl, Isla. Much of her spare time now is focused on sleep training, creating toddler recipes, providing developmentally appropriate brain-stimulating activities, and music and dance lessons; Isabel said “the fun never ends!”. Previously, Isabel focused on her lifestyle and leadership blog on isabelvaloria.com along with her millennial women talk show Prosecco Party Podcast!

We are excited to have Isabel back and can’t wait to see the continued impact she has on CoolITs evolution.
