Zakol Chen is one of our newest Program Managers, having joined CoolIT’s Taiwan team in July of 2021. While his time with CoolIT has been short, he has already cemented himself as a major addition to the team.

Zakol comes to CoolIT boasting 8 years of experience in the server industry, holding the titles of Senior Mechanical Engineer and Technical Program Manager at his previous companies. He has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, and utilizes that background along with his stellar interpersonal skills to understand customer needs while working with the CoolIT team to come up with solutions.

In his spare time, Zakol enjoys riding his bike with a few other members of the CoolIT team. Zakol loves Taiwanese food, but since working abroad in the US, he has gained a taste for Cubano sandwiches, with his favourite being the one served at La Pola in East New Jersey. He hopes to someday travel to Egypt or Brazil when given the opportunity.
