Rack Manifolds

Connecting CDUs to direct liquid cooled (DLC) servers, CoolIT Systems’ rack manifolds are engineered for robustness, high reliability and optimal performance.

Streamlining Rack Integration

In a direct liquid cooling system, the rack manifold does two jobs that determine how the deployment actually operates: it distributes coolant evenly across every server in the rack, and it lets your team add, remove, or service individual servers without interrupting flow to adjacent systems. CoolIT manifolds are engineered for low pressure drop, balanced flow, and are 100% leak tested including the quick disconnects.

Features

Built For The Reliability Demands Of Production Liquid Cooling

In a direct liquid cooling system, a manifold failure doesn’t just affect one server; it affects every server in the rack. CoolIT’s manifolds are engineered, manufactured, and tested with that consequence in mind.

  • Reliability by design. CoolIT applies aerospace-grade design principles to manifold geometry and connection architecture. Material selection (corrosion-resistant treated stainless steel throughout) is chosen for long-term compatibility with data center coolant chemistries, not just initial performance. Internal flow paths are designed to minimise debris accumulation and eliminate the dead zones where particulate can settle and cause problems over time.
  • Reliability by manufacturing. CoolIT’s manufacturing processes for manifolds draw on techniques used in high-integrity fluid systems. Connection points (which are the most failure-prone area in any liquid cooling assembly) are produced to tolerances that maximize sealing integrity over repeated connection and disconnection cycles. Every manifold is assembled under controlled conditions designed to prevent the introduction of contamination into the fluid path.
  • Reliability by testing. Every CoolIT manifold undergoes 100% leak testing before it ships (including the quick-disconnect fittings) under both static and dynamic conditions. This isn’t sampling or batch testing; it’s full end-of-line validation on every unit. The result is a manifold that arrives on-site already proven.
