The Opportunity

An exciting and challenging position exists as the Manager, Service Partners within CoolIT’s Professional Services team. As a member of the team, you will be a key contributor to CoolIT’s excellence in the global deployment and maintenance of our industry leading products and services in data center applications.

As the Manager, Service Partners, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Manage and grow our network of service providers as an extension of our company and your team
2. Ensure consistent adherence to our service requirements which set CoolIT apart as the true industry leader in data center liquid cooling

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish Master Services Agreements that allow us to call on local partners to install, commission and maintain our products globally;
  • Continuously improve and expand our service process documentation used by Authorized Service Providers;
  • Keep our Authorized Service Providers accountable to our processes, project scope, schedule and cost;
  • Responsible for the training, qualification and renewal of certifications for our Authorized Service Providers, always ensuring only the most capable technicians work with our products;
  • Provide plumbing & HVAC consultation to other team members internally in the company to help support CoolIT’s needs (Lab Technicians, Engineers, Product Manager, Sales Representatives, Production). Become a knowledge expert for any field related questions;
  • Adhere to Professional Services processes to respond to, mitigate, and resolve any troubleshooting and repairs on-site while leveraging CoolIT’s Authorized Service Providers;
  • Comply with all internal and external requirements including, but not limited to, environmental, health and safety; and
  • Dispatch and coordinate on-site service visits, with end-users and Authorized Service Providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Skilled trade, technical diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree in Must have a refined balance of office professionalism and hands-on technical abilities;
  • Strong project management skills, formal project management training considered an asset;
  • 5+ years experience in field services;
  • 3+ years experience managing trades contractors;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and PLCs. Should specialize in hydronic heating and cooling loops and equipment (radiant tube/fin, one pipe, two pipe direct return, reverse return, conduction);
  • Mission critical experience is Awareness of data center cooling strategies considered a strong asset;
  • Experience in deploying products in partnership with customers, end-users and other stakeholders seen as an asset;
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, above average communication skills, and a high level of customer service;
  • Acts with a sense of urgency, illustrates ambition and drives for completion of tasks/projects;
  • Solid organizational skills including time management, attention to detail, and multitasking;
  • Motivated, creative, collaborative, and results oriented; and
  • Overflowing with exuberance, energy, and enthusiasm.
