Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting CoolIT’s program pipeline and forecast targets. Developing account management plans for new and existing accounts that result in continued market share dominance;
  • Know our key accounts’ product roadmap inside and out;
  • Manage a team of Key Account Managers responsible for building our program pipeline and sustaining a product portfolio with various global IT and cloud brands;
  • Oversee commercial aspects of our relationship with key accounts, including program pipeline, product forecast, product pricing, schedules and escalations;
  • Be the voice and a strong advocate for your customers within the company; continuously strive for and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction;
  • Partner with peers in the company to cross-functionally ensure execution on customer programs at the highest level;
  • Ensure your team adheres to a selling process across multiple regional and vertical markets;
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to generate industry leading sales collateral and proposals;
  • Continuously engage with and learn from the Product and Engineering teams to develop a deep understanding of our hardware and services;
  • Engage regularly in the review and negotiation of various customer-related contracts;
  • Develop go-to-market plans for OEM partner products;
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in account management roles, focused on large enterprise IT companies;
  • 3+ years experience managing teams of 5 or more direct reports and 10 or more cross-functional contributors;
  • Knowledge of data center and IT markets; awareness of data center cooling strategies considered a strong asset;
  • Passionate about new technologies;
  • A self-motivated individual with a thirst for knowledge that moves fast;
  • Enjoys and contributes to a collaborative culture where nothing is impossible; and
  • Believes in being an ethical and good person, always.
