Our Partner Program

CoolIT Systems is committed to the support of our System Builder partners.  We create innovative custom solutions to help you achieve your ideal product vision. This program fully recognizes your need to offer turnkey solutions and allows you to maximize your purchasing power.

Custom Cooling

Here at CoolIT we design our products from start to finish, so we have total control over quality and customization of every solution we offer to you. We recognize that having the ability to offer custom solutions to your customers can give you a leading edge in a very competitive market. Whether you’re selling server solutions, gaming rigs, or small form factor PC’s, we have a solution for you. Contact one of our sales representatives to inquire about your specific needs, or visit our products page to learn more about just some of the custom radiator and fan sizes we have available.

CoolIT’s 2011 product line features two new CPU coolers with low-profile head units, and an advanced chassis control system for unmatched thermal management potential. The coolers have shown unparalleled success in performance gains and universality with all modern CPU sockets. The products are being offered to the system builder, OEM and industrial markets.

Thermal Testing

Typically most system integration work involves a great deal of trial and error with generous safety margins to ensure plenty of airflow. The unfortunate result is that the system while demonstrating great performance, may not have optimized acoustics. CoolIT Systems has recently developed a program for it’s System Integration partners. The basis of the service is to run a desired hardware configuration through a regimen of systematic tests to determine the optimum thermal operating range along with minimizing all of the system fan speeds to reduce acoustics. For the first time system builders have affordable access to services once only available tier 1 OEMs with dedicated engineering departments.  The result is that system builders can have higher confidence in their builds and detailed analytics to use in their marketing initiatives. With this type of validation, we can help our partners to efficiently deliver reliable, high-performance products.  First the System is instrumented with thermocouples on all critical points of the system; the fans are then plugged into the CI-Bridge Control system. The entire system is placed in a temperature controlled environmental chamber then as the system is subjected to a series of specialized load tests, the fan speeds are varied and the resulting critical temperatures are logged and for each load type, the minimum safe fan speeds are recorded. The summary report that results from the test includes normalized metrics for:

  • CPU Performance Score: Bench marked performance at prescribed CPU settings
  • GPU Performance Score: Bench marked performance at prescribed GPU settings
  • Thermal Index: A combined score based on the temperature delta of the critical system components to their recommended Tcase Max
  • Performance/Watt: This metric will give an indication of how efficient the system is running to deliver computing performance
  • Acoustic Score: While this is NOT an empirical measurement of sound pressure level or noise, CoolIT has developed an algorithm to predict the noise contributed by multiple fans at varying speeds
