CoolIT Systems new advanced LGA-1156 retention mechanism has great features that maximize the performance of our CPU cooling solutions on i5 CPUs. The innovative design combines components together into a single assembly allowing it to be easily installed and ensures even pressure is placed on the CPU without violating the maximum pressure specified by CPU manufacturers. Attention has been given to the smallest details such as the tool run-off protection that prevents accidental screwdriver slippage from creating havoc on expensive motherboard components.

This retention mechanism kit includes a LGA-1156 back plate and top plate with spring loaded screws pre-attached.  This kit can be used with Domino ALC, Freezone Elite, Boreas and Pure.
