CoolIT Systems, Inc. is the global leader in energy efficient liquid cooling solutions for data centers, servers and desktops. The company has two main offices based in Calgary, Canada and Connecticut, USA as well as sales representatives located in Europe and Asia.
Since CoolIT Systems was founded in 2001, the company’s dedication to the invention and design of state-of-the-art cooling technology has led to a portfolio of over 61 patents and deployment of over 2 million units worldwide. CoolIT Systems' reputation has always been synonymous with industry leading liquid cooling solutions.
Through proud collaboration with industry leaders like Apple, Dell, HP, Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, Supermicro and others, CoolIT Systems liquid cooling technology has become a staple in today's high performance desktop computer and is destined to become the mainstream cooling solution in the world of data centers.
The persistent pursuit of high quality design, collaborative engineering, manufacturing and serviceability connects customers with design possibilities and exceptional performance results that only CoolIT's Direct Contact Liquid Cooling can provide.
To facilitate technology acceptance, CoolIT Systems helped to establish an industry group in 2012 called the Demand Liquid Alliance (DLA). Education and quality guarantees are critical to giving data center owners and operators the confidence they need to welcome liquid cooling technology into their data centers. The DLA has attracted representation from all sides of the industry and fosters discussions on how to build liquid cooling technology standards for the successful adoption of liquid cooling. In November 2014, the DLA folded within The Green Grid Association, the global authority on effective and accountable resource efficiency across the entire information and communications technology (ICT) ecosystem. The Green Grid announced it has established a Liquid Cooling Group within its Technical Committee to provide a forum to push the best practice for liquid cooling implementations. With an established presence, a goal to unite global industry efforts and develop technical resources and educational tools, as well as an interest in applying this goal to the liquid cooling movement, the Green Grid Association is well positioned to step in as a suitable succession for the DLA.
CoolIT Systems has led by joining The Green Grid's Liquid Cooling Group as a contributing member and CoolIT would like to encourage you to do the same. CoolIT aims to promote the succession of the DLA initiative into The Green Grid to continue the demystification of liquid cooling technology for the benefit of the IT industry. By aligning the DLA ambition into The Green Grid, all members can draw on the knowledge and experience of industry masters to help steer liquid cooling benefits into a commercial reality.
