I have been playing again, this time with fans.....my present setup is using Scythe fluid dynamic bearing 75CFM 120's for silence (three of them, Freezone, Eliminator, DangerGen Rad).....since I added the Dangergen pump I have been using my fan controller to dail the pump flow, and I changed out one of the Scythe's for a Delta Fan I have had laying around for years, part #AFB1212EHE Rev. C (still available @Sidewinder Computers), this part is rated to around 150CFM @4000rpm, yes, it is loud at full blast, but on the fan controller @7v is is really quiet and pumps around 88CFM's, actually more than the Scythe's at 12v.....
This fan is rated higher than the 120mm Delta Fan the present units come with (120+CFM, 120mm), I don't think one needs anymore power to the fins than a full 150CFM (I am sure there is a jet pilot or three out there that will want MORE), at a certain point increased airflow can get inefficient and actually create some heat from uber friction over the fins.....
Second Fan on the way for the Eliminator, the Freezone got the one I had as it was the easy one to swap out....obviously, I am using these parts to accomodate the 92 to 120 usage...the Eliminator swap is a bit harder the way I have my rig setup....

Fan controller strongly recommended, that, or earplugs....
This is the fan controller I am using (an older review), it can handle up to 18w for each fan, pump or accessory (it has four). Don't know if it is still available, this is an older part that just won't die, if you go looking just make sure the controller has some beefy watt ratings.....
