The Evolution Of Mozart 1 Year, 7 Months ago Karma: 176
I bought a Thermaltake Mozart tx about a yr ago that has gone thro many many configs in that time and has become known as just "the mozart"....Heres a few pics from over that time.

In the very begining it started out with the Eliminator cooling a e2200 OC'd@3.2 on a MSI P35 NEO 2....My temps were amazing:

In that pic CPU is only @3.0GHz but the idle temps were wicked (ambient temp is about 15c...My case is sitting in a very cold corner of my apt.)

My setup stayed like this for quite a while until my Eliminator started making a weird noise...Turns out now that Ive come to know Coolit products,my only problem with that eliminator was it likly just needed a lil topup on coolant...Sometimes I miss that lil beast.

So anyhow I upgraded to the original Freezone...went out and got a e8400 and a MSI P45 Platinium.(just to note:there was a lil mixup with my shipment of the original freezone to me so my system didnt stay like this for long....Also note that coolit was extremly amazing when dealing with this mixup an gained a life long custumer from it)

I cant find any pics of my system with the freezone installed so I'll just try to explain it quickly :/

I had a clearance issue with mounting the freezone over my P45s stock cooler so I ended up mounting the freezone in the front of my case.(if you look at the Eliminator pic the freezone would be in the same place the blue LED fan is there)

I wasnt sure if I would have a problem removing the heat that the freezone produces or if it would in turn heat up my system.

Oh boy,I love my Mozart...the temps didnt even raise 1c...I knew there was a reason I bought a case with 10 120mm fan slots lol

So onto the next phase...part of coolits sulution to my freezone mixup was upgrading me to the Freezone Elite. So out with the original and in with the elite.

Also just before this I won a Coolit Pure from a desktop contest they ran....My need to Mod took over..lets take these things apart

Now time to merge the 2....1st I bought a new pump cause I was expecting a very long loop.
I replaced the coolit pump with a Danger Den DDCPX-PRO 12V hooked into a controller to slow it down a bit.

Also I wanted to be able to drain an fill this thing easier so I bought a Ek Water Blocks Ek Multioption Res....As you can tell my system doesnt stay the same for to long so this was almost a need.

Heres the 1st setup I had after modding:

As ya see I ended up using the rad from the Pure in addition to the new pump and res...I left the Elite were my original freezone was.

The pump is tucked away on the otherside of the mobo tray w/the mtec unit(and all my wires)

After about a week all that empty space at top my case finally ate away at me.So the Elite got moved uptop.

During this mod I had a great idea to add a fan to the front of the elite.

The system stayed like this until I started reading PradaG's thread.aaarrrggghh here comes the need to rip it apart again

The green anti-kink always bugged me...so that was 1st to go,replaced it with coolits black anti-kink.I also moved the whole cooling system to the inside top of my case.(took at least 6-7 feet off my loop)and looks so so much better:cheer:

1 day that rad will be replaced with another elite

I have the pump tucked away in a top bay(never could figure out what you would put there lol)...It was a complete pain to fill the system with the pump mounted there...kept getting an air bubble stuck just before the pump :/...but have had no air issues since so alls good

After the fans were mounted I was looking in the front drive bay and thought this just looked cool.

pun intended.

Here it is as it sits now.

PradaG has me thinkin about my wiring now....might be time to actually sit down and wrap it all up nice next instead of just hiding it around back...its pretty hard finding spacific wires sometimes

Also I really need to pick up some longer sata cords...sadly its somthing Ive been meaning to get for a yr now...just seems to be 1 of those things you ALWAYS forget, until than my 3rd drive will stay in its cardboard bay lol

A lil windex probally wouldnt hurt either

Huge thanks to every1 at coolit, specially Barry for all the support.

VERY NICE...

Much Cleaner! & the tubes look great - you might be able to get away w/ just using the coolit pump after getting rid of all that extra toobage

wires are a whole different type of obsession...after you see what you can do w/ just your sata's to clean them up, you'll want to start customizing all the connections. there are a bunch of etailers that sell inline molex & satas, those alone make a huge difference in the appearance

good news is...its freaking cold out -

there are plenty more days of tinkering time before winter passes

I actually tested the coolit pump when my loop was close to 15ft and it ran fine for the 24hrs or so I had it in.

Your thread has my mind in overdrive thinkin about cabling, wrap and connects....I wanted to sand an repaint my case next time I rebuilt it so Im trying to wait till my garage warms up a lil.

I dont think I will be able to wait...Ive already started looking for my space heater

uh oh...you have got it...you have been contaminated...you must be quarantined immediately.

Move into the garage, take w/ you what you need (don’t forget a mini fridge) & in 2 weeks time you can be released. There is no guarantee that the bug you have been bitten by did not alter brain chemistry. It appears to affect the satisfaction portion of the brain…almost as if you cannot get any, and or enough.

I can’t wait to see what the next round holds

Good luck & keep the pics coming
