CLOSED-LOOP DCLC

CoolIT Systems Closed-Loop DCLC solutions are direct contact liquid cooling device confined within a Server or Desktop. Actively-pumping coldplate assemblies are installed on heat-producing components and serve to reject hot air through slim, quiet radiators. Integrating these sealed liquid loops is simple, as they ship pre-filled with coolant, and installation is comparable to that of a standard heat sink. Distributors, System Integrators and OEMs can use this component guide to develop the ideal cooling solution from our Closed-Loop DCLC product line, which is currently anchored by the legendary E3 pump.

ACTIVE COLDPLATE ASSEMBLIES

Actively-pumping coldplate assemblies are installed on heat-producing components and serve to reject hot air through slim, quiet radiators. Integrating these sealed liquid loops is simple, as they ship pre-filled with coolant and installation is comparable to that of a standard heat sink.

EP2 Active Coldplate Assembly

The EP2 is a high-performance active component for use with CoolIT Systems’ Closed-Loop DCLC solutions. Specifically designed for use with the upcoming Intel® Xeon Phi Processor Family (Knights Landing), this solution enables closed-loop systems by including an active pump within a 1U compatible form factor. Thermally, the solution is optimized for the unique power distribution of the Knights Landing package to ensure appropriate cooling for both the CPU and the MCDRAM, and can be spec’d to supply optimized flow rates for varying radiator requirements.

E3 Active Coldplate Assembly

The CoolIT Systems’ E3 features a liquid cooled stator and patented split flow design.This assembly is quiet and has the best performance on the market. With more than 2 million units deployed, the extremely reliable E3 is universally compatible and features low power consumption and superior cooling.

EX2 Active Coldplate Assembly

Designed to support the latest Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processor Family (Skylake-SP), the new EX2 can be paired with our low-profile radiators to enable the use of these high-power processors in 1U appliances. Improving on early designs by reducing the height of the assembly and pulling the tubing interface into the traditional heat sink keep in zone allows for much greater system design flexibility.
